"The 5th Wind Noh" began on Saturday, September 9 with a parade performed by children in kimono of the Sanda Children's Choir.
The approximately 280 guests who gathered were all enthusiastic people who had come from Paris, Tokyo, Osaka and Sanda.

The weather was perfect and the "Sandalino Picnic in the Woods" began with the first entrance of the children accompanied by jiutai (chorus) and oayashi (musical accompaniment), followed by Sandalino, played by Tadaaki Zenchiku, who appeared with the children.
The joy of eating, which Sandalino, who has no mouth, does not understand, and the children, exhausted from playing hide-and-seek after the picnic, returned home.

There was a chorus by the Sanda Children's Choir, and after a short break, the fire-entering ceremony. Susumu Shingu carried the sacred fire given by Komausa Hachiman Shrine, and two bonfires floating on the pond were lit.
Shingu and Genjiro Okura, a living national treasure and kotsuzumi (small tabor) player of the Noh musical accompaniment, then spoke about the history of why Noh theater began here in the first place. The firelit Noh play on the water stage turned into a beautiful sunset, and by the time Atsushi Ueda finished explaining Kyogen Shimizu and the Noh play Kiku-jidou, the stage was enveloped in beautiful colors.

Next was the Noh theater, Kiku-jidou. The gorgeous musicians and gorgeous costumes dazzled the audience, and the two-and-a-half-hour performance went by in a flash. In this stunning natural environment, everyone experienced the splendor of the Earth.
