Yannick Mercoyrol x Susumu Shingu

Born in Osaka, Japan.
Graduated from Tokyo University of Arts with a major in oil painting. Went to study in Rome. Started to make sculptures that move by the wind toward the end of his six years' stay in Italy.
He has been making sculptures that move by the natural energies of wind and water all over the world since then.
