Susumu Shingu WIND MUSEUM

Susumu Shingu WIND MUSEUM, a sculpture garden with twelve of Susumu Shingu's masterpieces, has opened in Arimafuji Park in Sanda, Hyogo. This unique open-air museum is realized by Hyogo Prefecture with the donation by Susumu Shingu, the artist of kinetic sculptures that move by natural energies of wind and water. The space of this museum is about 9,000 square meters at the foot of Arimafuji Mountain and lakeside of Senjoji Lake, surrounded by green trees and mountains. Each sculpture, of different shape, color, material and dimensions, keeps dancing in the wind as if each one has its life and own character.

One can enjoy in this park peaceful moments in the change of seasons, weather and stream of time, looking at the movements of the sculptures, feeling rich nature of countryside of Sanda.
